Our Adventure Book: and we're off!

Hi guys! So as you guys can see from my Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat we are finally in Misawa, Japan and loving it here! We have been here for almost 2 months now, life couldn't be any sweeter! Life is so different here compare to the states. But let's go back and retract a bit... after they came for our last shipment I was beyond excited! Our house was empty with a few suitcases left behind. Can I say living off a suitcase sucks! I had little to no options when it came to my makeup, clothes and shoes. We had nothing and lived like this for 1 week. It wasn't impossible but it sure wasn't fun either. Can you only imagine trying to entertain a one year old and a seven year old without any toys, just a doll and coloring books? Yes, it was though but we did it!

Do you guys remember we decided to sale our house? Well, after putting our house on the market a family contacted us and was very interested in renting the house for a long period of time. This opportunity seemed best for our family and after so much thinking and going over the numbers, it was the best thing to do. We took down the house for sale and instead, we made it into a rental property. We decided we would make our first home a rental property and eventually when its time to go back to San Diego we will purchase a second home, our dream home! Having a rental property can be a headache from what I hear. We just hope that we have found a good, sincere family but only time will tell. I am happy to say though that so far so good.
We had one week before heading to Japan to get our house ready for rent so we checked into a hotel and got going with the house. It felt so much better being in a hotel where we had beds, a table, chairs and everything else. Living in an empty house with no furniture can be rough!

FOTD: Graffiti

I am finally starting to get used to our new home in Japan. There's so many things I want to tell you guys and show you but certain things I can't but the things that I can I will share on another post. Japan is so beautiful and there's lots of things to do here. I will definitely do tons of post of Japan.

It has been a while since I've been able to sit down without being rushed and do a complete makeup look. I've always liked how green and brown went together but never really went out of my comfort zone to try it myself. I always saw it on other girls on Instagram and just loved how beautiful it looked on them so I finally went for it!

FOTD: Deep Truth and Rule

Here's another way of wearing orange eyeshadow. This time I decided to tone it down a bit on the orange and instead of using Red Brick, I went with Rule. There's just something about blue and orange that makes them look gorgeous together!

FOTD: Orange and Purple

Here's a look using MAC Red Brick- a bright orange color with a matte finish. A few post back I wrote about how much I LOVE orange eyeshadow and how it goes great with everything. I decided to show you guys how I pair it with other bright shadows as well. I love purple so it was only right to pair the two together.

I am so happy I that I decided to try Too Faced lipsticks. I wanted to start off by purchasing one of them and depending on the result then I would go back for more. I guess I will have to make another trip!

Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Review, Photos, Swatches

Ever since Too Faced released the Chocolate Bar Palette it has been my go to palette. I just love the variety of colors it has and how soft and pigmented they are. So when I heard that Too Faced was coming out with their Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar, I knew I had to have it!

MAC Red Brick Eyeshadow Review, Photos, Swatches

Lately I've been having this obsession with adding MAC Rule to my eyes as a transition color when doing my makeup. I just love how it looks and how it pretty much goes with everything! I really really like Rule but I wanted to see if MAC had anything a little bit deeper than Rule and of course they did!

Red Brick- described as an orange red with a matte finish.

I love warm tone blushes, especially for summer. Summer is just around the corner and I love wearing a nice summery glow.
