FOTD: MAC Nightmoth & Rebel

We all love dark lips for this season and I'm no exemption to that. At the moment I am loving Nightmoth and Rebel together. I like to line my lips with Nightmoth and fill it in with Rebel. I love how the outside looks darker and it fades into a lighter shade. I think it looks great with very minimal color on the lids, winged liner and glowy skin.

FOTD: Soft, Clean Makeup with a Bold Lip

I've been really into soft, clean makeup with a bold lip. When it comes to color, I usually go for the lips. I'm not big on color on my eyes but I love lipstick! One of favorite things to do to make my eyes stand out is apply a nice white shimmer color onto the inner corner of my eyes and apply white liner to the bottom rim of my lashes to make me look more awake. I also love how soft, clean makeup goes with a sleek ponytail.

How to Achieve Perfect Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Beauty Express For Brows and Eyes, Brow Wiz Review, Photos, Swatches

Eyebrows are the main point when it comes to makeup. It is the first thing that people see when they approach you, so having perfect eyebrows are a must for me. I've always been a powder kinda of girl when it comes to my eyebrows. I feel like they give you more of a soft, natural look instead of a harsh pencil look. For months now I've been using Anastasia Beverly Hills products for my eyebrows and I couldn't be happier.

The Elf on the Shelf Arrival Ideas and Arrival Letter

Just like so many families around the world, we have joined the Elf on the Shelf tradition. Starting the elf on the shelf tradition can be very intimidating but it doesn't have to be. The #1 rule for parents is have fun with it and it will all come together.

What is Elf on the Shelf and how does it work?
Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition that includes a special scout elf sent from the North Pole to help Santa Claus manage his naughty and nice lists. When a family adopts a scout elf and gives it a name, the scout elf receives its Christmas magic and can fly to the North Pole each night to tell Santa Claus about all of the days adventures. Each morning, the scout elf returns to its family and perches a different place to watch the fun. Children love to wake up and race around the house looking for their scout elf each morning.

Banana Bread Recipe

When your bananas are getting too bruised-- make homemade Banana Nut Bread or Banana Chocolate Chip Bread!
It's so easy it's bananas!

From time to time my bananas end up too bruised and I end up throwing them away but not today! This morning I decided not to waste my bananas, instead I decided to make something out of them. I love Banana Nut Bread and my husband and son love anything chocolate chip so I decided to make them Banana Chocolate Chip Bread as well. This is a super easy recipe I got from Pinterest but I always like to tweak them to our liking. It's so hard to get a really good recipe that works and taste great on Pinterest so I always tweak them to make them better.

The Little Mermaid Birthday Party!

One of my favorite things to do is theme parties. I love planning events for any occasion. I just love getting ideas and bringing them together!

I received a few emails to blog about my princess 1st birthday party and I know it was about 3 months ago but the reason it took me a while to finally decide to blog about it was because I wasn't so sure I wanted to include my private life on here but after a lot of thinking I decided this might help a lot of my readers when it comes to event planing.

Event planning can take a lot of your time and can get some what stressful so be prepare to feel overwhelming at times but overall it's so much fun.

We decided to go with The Little Mermaid theme. As a lot of you know my princess name is Ariel so what better theme for her 1st birthday party! I didn't want the traditional Little Mermaid birthday party so I decided to go with a baby version Ariel and for the main colors to be purple and mint green with a little bit of gold.

Here in San Diego we are spoiled with great weather. Majority of the time we have amazing, sunny weather and are in need of some cute, big sunglasses.
