It seemed like everyone couldn't wait to get their hands on RiRi Woo, including me. RiRi Woo is a remake of MAC Ruby Woo lipstick with a twist. It didn't matter how long it took to actually place the order, it seemed like we all just had to have it. I actually went online at 8:45am the day it was released and the lipstick was already online so I placed my order for the first one and right away placed another order for my backup one. I'm guessing because they had just put it up online I didn't have to wait so long to actually purchase it. From what I heard people where waiting 45 min to an hour for checkout. Oh lucky me because have I ever mentioned that I have no patience. There was a lot of you that didn't get the chance to get your hands on RiRi Woo but there's really nothing to be upset about, unless you are like me and are in LOVE with Rihanna and just had to have it no matter what it took.
RiRi Woo is a matte cool red with a retro matte finish. Ruby Woo is exactly the same except it's just a matte regular finish. Retro matte finish is the driest of all finishes. I believe these two are very identical to one another. The only big difference is the RiRi carved on the lipstick for RiRi Woo. When the lipsticks are applied to the lips you would think they are exactly the same product but when you swatch them side by side you can see a tiny bit difference in color. You really need to really focus on it to really be able to tell but who really has the time for that. Ruby Woo is like a tomato red when RiRi Woo is the same but a bit deeper red. I don't think RiRi Woo is a must have unless you are a true fanatic of Rihanna like me that I just had to have not one but two of them. So if you didn't get the chance to get RiRi Woo the good thing is that Ruby Woo is a permanent product so you can always find it at the MAC counter.
